Last week a 36 year old woman named Kelli filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Idaho against her parents Fertility doctor for allegedly using his own sperm to impregnate her mother. Sounds incredible right? Well Kelli has the DNA test to prove it.
You see, Kellie had used a very popular DNA company to trace her lineage, and to her surprise her biological father turned out to be not the man who raised her and was married to her mother, but instead her parents fertility doctor.
Kellie’s father had a low sperm count and low sperm mobility, so the chance of them conceiving a baby without assistance were slim to none. Unfortunately for them products like Semenax were not available at the time so they had to start expensive fertility treatments.
And it was through these fertility treatments, the court documents state, that the fertility doctor used his own sperm instead of a donor’s sperm over the course of nine treatments. He had claimed to have found an ideal candidate who matched physically with Kellie’s father, but as it turned out that was all a lie.
Can you imagine the violation of trust? Putting their trust into their doctor, Kellie’s parents endured the hardships and often humiliating fertility treatments for years. All they wanted was a baby of their own, and they were willing to break the bank, but to be completely deceived by their trusted doctor is astonishing.
The lawsuits states that they all have struggled to cope with the anguish that has been caused by this scrupulous fertility doctor and clinic.
